About me

Elena Domenichini is a freelance multidisciplinary designer and art director born and based in Milan, Italy.

She graduated in Graphic Design & Art Direction at NABA in Milan with her thesis Eye of a Child, a multimedia interactive book about Barcelona whose purpose is to bring people closer to art. She completed her studies with “Art Market” training course at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and with the master “Storytelling for Art” at IED in Venice.

She worked as curator’s assistant for the exhibition Il mondo fuggevole di Toulouse-Lautrec at Palazzo Reale and worked as gallery assistant for three years for the art gallery Wunderkammern, specializing in street and urban art, collaborating with artists such as Shepard Fairey (OBEY) and institutions such as MMOMA (Moscow Museum of Modern Art) and GAM (Gallery of Modern Art) in Rome.

Strengthened by the unforgettable experiences and encounters with so many artists and personalities, she throw herself into a project of her own, so, as of November 2020, she is a freelance.

Today, she collaborates with brands and agencies and works on art direction and graphic design across the board, with a special focus on illustration. In January 2024 she launched Mettiladap.arte, a newsletter that carries on her original goal: to share art and beauty with people, and to continue to nurture that “child's eye” on the world that has always inspired her.
