Client: Prestat Fine Truffles

Prestat was founded in 1902 by Antoine Dufour, creator of the recipe for the famous chocolate truffle.
Its first shop became a point of reference for many personalities from the world of entertainment and literature of the time. These included the writer Roald Dahl.

Prestat has for many years been counted among the suppliers of the Royal Household and London nobility and, in 1975, had the honor of receiving a Royal Warrant as chocolate supplier to Her Majesty the Queen.

Redesigning Prestat

Even a historic and prestigious brand like Prestat had lost consistency in its visual identity after several re-brandings. That is why I was asked to build a new visual imagery to communicate its cornerstones: making excellent quality chocolate, being British, and being extravagant. This is how the concept of 'Magical London' was born: an imaginary world where everyday objects conceal a little magic. I redesigned the entire visual identity of the brand, making it more in step with the times but preserving its historicity in the fonts, colours, illustrations and the photographic and graphic treatment for social media and the website. This is what came out!
